Free Gauteng Student Nurse College 2025
The Gauteng College of Nursing is accepting applications for its Diploma in Nursing program starting in 2025. Study at one of four campuses: Ann Latsky, Bonalesedi, Chris Hani Baragwanath, or SG Lourens.
Requirements For Free Gauteng Student Nurse 2025:
- South African citizen residing in Gauteng
- Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate (Grade 12), or National Certificate (Vocational) Level 4
- Meet specific subject criteria (see below)
- Advantage given to those from Quintile 1, 2, or 3 schools
Must Also see: Ford Motor Company learnership Programme 2024-2025 South Africa
Subject Criteria:
- Senior Certificate: English HG D or SG C, Biology HG D or SG C, Mathematics HG D or SG C, and an M score of 17
- National Senior Certificate: English Level 4, Life Sciences Level 4, Mathematics Level 4 or Maths Literacy Level 5, and an APS of 27 or more (Life Orientation counts half)
- National Certificate (Vocational) Level 4: 50% in Fundamental Subjects and 60% in Vocational Subjects
Additional Information:
- Shortlisted applicants will undergo psychometric assessments and medical surveillance.
- Successful candidates must fund their own studies.
- The program includes Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in Gauteng hospitals and clinics, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
