Apprentice HEM – Komatsu South Africa
Komatsu South Africa is offering an exciting opportunity for young individuals to join the company’s 4-year Apprentice Program in Pinetown. Minimum Requirements For Apprentice HEM – Komatsu South Africa :
- Education: Grade 12 with Mathematics.
- Residence: Must live in Pinetown or nearby areas.
- Employment Status: Must currently be unemployed.
Required Subjects (NQF Level 4):
- Mathematics / Technical Mathematics (Not Mathematical Literacy).
- Physical Science / Technical Science.
- N3 Diesel Trade Theory and/or N3 Mechanotechnology.
- Engineering Graphic and Design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply a broad range of technical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Demonstrate growing independence in tasks as training progresses.
- Complete apprentice modules as required by merSETA.
- Prioritize health and safety protocols in the workplace.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure it is in good condition.
- Keep an updated logbook of projects and skills acquired throughout the apprenticeship.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, practicing good housekeeping.
- Uphold a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Perform other duties that support the role.
